I recently graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I am now employed by one of the world's biggest aerospace contractors. High school and college provided amazing opportunities to help others pursue excellence. I have had opportunities to work with students through study groups as well as tutoring agencies. In every instance, it was a joy seeing others progress from one stage of learning to the next. I love tutoring a student and then watching that "aha!" moment break through.My favorite subjects to tutor include Math, Programming, and Physics. It is simply a great feeling to see people utilize tools that can help them achieve their full potential. I have adjusted my tutoring style to match how my students can best learn. This creates trust as well as builds confidence in them. That confidence can be called on to improve test scores and to grow in their discipline. I also believe that learning should be fun and interesting. I like to keep my students engaged and interested in our tutoring sessions.
