Experience
20 years of teaching at US & Venezuelan universities and colleges. Around 1980, in my native Venezuela, I also did some private tutoring with Berlitz ex students (Reynolds International foreign engineers), and with executives of International Harvester (i.e. Mr. Randall Robinson). I had very high GRE scores (top 90%) and was accepted with a fellowship into the doctoral program of International Relations at USC, back in 1986, back instead I chose to join the Spanish graduate program at the same institution and work as an instructor. I participated in 2 NEH (National Endowment for the Humanities) summer institutes (N. Carolina & New York), back in the 1990s. I published in the top academic journal in my field: Anales Cervantinos (2010).
